چکیده

This paper introduces the concept of “revocable unlinkability” for unlinkable anonymous signatures and proposes a generalized scheme that modifies the signatures to include revocable unlinkability. Revocable unlinkability provides a condition in which multiple messages signed using an unlinkable anonymous signature are unlinkable for anyone except the unlinkability revocation manager. Noteworthy is that the identifier of the signer is kept secret from the manager. In addition, examples are presented in which the proposed scheme is applied to existing group/ring signatures. The proposed scheme employs a verifiable MIX-net to shuffle the identifiers of all potential signers, thus giving it the potential for wide application to unlinkable anonymous signatures. key words: unlinkability, anonymous signature, revocation, group signature, ring signature, Mix-net

Rethinking Privacy for Extended Sanitizable Signatures and a Black-Box Construction of Strongly Private Schemes

Sanitizable signatures, introduced by Ateniese et al. at ESORICS’05, allow to issue a signature on a message where certain predefined message blocks may later be changed (sanitized) by some dedicated party (the sanitizer) without invalidating the original signature. With sanitizable signatures, replacements for modifiable (admissible) message blocks can be chosen arbitrarily by the sanitizer. H...

Efficient and Perfectly Unlinkable Sanitizable Signatures without Group Signatures

Sanitizable signatures allow for controlled modification of signed data. The essential security requirements are accountability, privacy and unlinkability. Unlinkability is a strong notion of privacy. Namely, it makes it hard to link two sanitized messages that were derived from the same message-signature pair. In this work, we strengthen the standard unlinkability definition by Brzuska et al. ...

Cross-Unlinkable Hierarchical Group Signatures

We introduce the notion of Cross-Unlinkability for group signature schemes. Considering groups organized in a tree structure, where belonging to the parent group is required to join a new group, CrossUnlinkability enables a cascade revocation process that takes into account the underlying tree structure, while ensuring anonymity for nonrevoked users, in particular, towards the managers of the o...

A User Efficient Fair Blind Signature Scheme for Untraceable Electronic Cash

Blind signatures have been widely adopted to construct untraceable electronic cash systems since they are both unlinkable and unforgeable. Although unlinkability protects the privacy of customers and users, it may be abused by criminals for such purposes as to launder money or to safely get a ransom. The techniques of fair blind signatures are developed to deal with the abuse of unlinkability. ...

Efficient Unlinkable Sanitizable Signatures from Signatures with Re-randomizable Keys

In a sanitizable signature scheme the signer allows a designated third party, called the sanitizer, to modify certain parts of the message and adapt the signature accordingly. Ateniese et al. (ESORICS 2005) introduced this primitive and proposed five security properties which were formalized by Brzuska et al. (PKC 2009). Subsequently, Brzuska et al. (PKC 2010) suggested an additional security n...
